How to Place a Custom Order (Step-by-Step)

Placing a custom order at Four Pillars Printing is straightforward. Here's how it works:

Step 1: Prepare your PDF Your file should be print-ready. Letter size (8.5" x 11") is standard. Make sure fonts are embedded and images are high-resolution (300 DPI recommended).

Step 2: Go to the Custom Print Order page Visit fourpillarsprinting.com/products/custom-print-job.

Step 3: Upload your PDF Drag and drop or use the file picker. Your page count is detected automatically. On mobile? You'll see a prompt to use our simpler Express uploader instead — it works great on a phone.

Step 4: Configure your options After uploading you'll choose:

  • Paper type — Standard Bond, Premium Bond, Cardstock, Gloss Coated Paper
  • Color — Black & White or Full Color
  • Print sides — Single-sided or Double-sided (double-sided saves money)
  • Binding — Loose Leaf, Coil, Wire-O, Saddle Stitch, Perfect Bind, and more
  • Covers — Front/back cover stock options (for coil/wire-o orders)
  • Add-ons — Hole punch, lamination, etc.
  • Quantity

Pricing updates live as you make selections — you'll see the exact total before adding to cart.

Step 5: Add to cart and checkout Pricing is calculated based on your page count, options, and quantity. Free shipping on US orders $100+.
